SKINS, is an photographic exploration of the complexities of American Culture in the 21st Century. The idealization of the body is examined physically and metaphorically through play, lighting and process. Inspired by organic colors and textures that environmental weathering create during the aging process, gender, career, culture, ethnicity, age and class all disappear revealing the one constant, autonomy.
THEY STILL LIVE
2016
In collaboration with phenomenal artist, Detour, and Dr Paul Hamilton of Denver CO, They Still Live is an exploration of Africa in the Western World. Each African American model received an Ancestry.com DNA test to gather their detailed heritage information for participating. The outcome will be announced in 6-8 weeks followed by an exhibit held in Downtown Denver Gallery as well as in print.
THE ART OF BEING NATURAL

A documentary process of Urban Naturals in the Denver, Colorado area. Whether participants live organically through nutrition or personal hair style, each individual has chosen to refrain from using dangerous yet common chemicals, products and processed foods in their every day life.
GRAFFITI
2014
Graffiti is a UNIVERSAL language. As a pillar of Hip Hop, Graffiti, is a work of art that is visible and appreciated for the moment. Living on the walls of subways, tunnels, bridges, the transient art is created just about anywhere it can't be easily washed or painted away.
IDENTITY

An ongoing series of self exploratory & reflective pieces through costuming to communicate the vision of self. These works reflect cultural beliefs enhanced by mythology, cinema, culture & Art History. Some portraits are inspired by childhood memories & extensive imagination. As a whole, I am Inspired by the human condition, duality & balance as I explore identity through self reflection. I pay homage to maternal expressions and matriarchs throughout Art History.
BEAUTIFUL

I create visual personifications of identity narratives through photography, drawing and mixed media. I explore the gaps of knowledge of my own heritage with vivid imagery addressing a chameleon identity. I compile diverse narratives and stories to explore the idea of duality, multiplicity and the OTHER through self portraiture. Through experimentation and exploration, the foundation of who we are remains the same. We create these identities based off of who we believe we are, where we spent our formative years, who our families are & where they are from. Our identity can be constructed and manipulated with our environment. Masks may and can be worn as protection or out of fear. It is my intention to discover the balance of self.

In 2011, Anthony, released her first black and white coffee table book entitled "Her Art & Soul" accompanied by her first solo exhibit Photography exhibit, "Dark to Light: Being Human," A Black and White Multi Media portrait collection, hosted by The Living Well of Baltimore MD.
